How to Get to the B.H. Whipple Federal Building
-Public Transportation: The Whipple Federal Building is accessible by both public buses and the Hiawatha Light Rail. The “Fort Snelling” stop is the light rail transit station nearest the building. The Metro Transit allows you to look up/print bus and light rail schedules as well as route maps. You can plan your trip by visiting the website below. When entering the Whipple Building grounds, enter from the side that has a manned parking attendant station. Please have your ID available, as they will check your ID and ask the reason for your visit.

-Personal Vehicle: A free parking lot is located directly in front of the Whipple Building. When entering the Whipple Building grounds, enter from the side that has a manned parking attendant station. Please have your ID available, as they will check your ID and ask the reason for your visit.
Note: Federal Hiring Fair participants will be required to go through the Whipple security prior to entering the building. Please make sure that you do not bring any weapons or aerosols. They will be confiscated.
