Employee Health Benefits

OPM’s open season for health benefits, dental and vision insurance, and Flexible Spending Accounts runs from Monday, November 8- Monday, December 13, 2021. This open season provided federal employees and retirees the opportunity to change their health-care coverage and employees who are not enrolled, but are eligible to participate, the opportunity to elect coverage.

Our schedule for this year’s in-person health fairs held throughout Minnesota can be found here: 2022 Open Season Private Schedule

Due to COVID-19, in-person health fairs are subject to change at agency discretion. Please check the schedule the day before you plan to attend an event to verify that it is still on.  We will update the on-line schedule as changes are made.

  • Note: The In-Person schedule was updated on 11/23/2021. Due to COVID-19 please double check the schedule before planning to attend a health fair.

We have coordinated with insurance providers to have multiple virtual health fairs this year.  That schedule can be found here: UPDATED Virtual Health Fair Schedule

For additional information please read OPM’s Guide to Federal Benefits, which is available on OPM’s website at www.opm.gov/insure.
