The Federal Executive Board of Minnesota is pleased to partner with the Federal Mediaiton and Conciliation Service to offer a week-long Mediation skills training. Commisioners of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service will teach participants the skills to act as mediators.

The FMCS 40-hour Mediation Training Course is designed to acquaint participants with fundamental skills of mediation. The course provides a broad-based approach to mediating disputes, and is a generalized program which is not limited to a specific topic such as: EEO, enforcement, labor, grants, etc...  The training begins with what mediation is and how it is used in resolving conflicts.  It then introduces basic mediation skills and provides opportunities to learn and apply these skills in a collaborative working environment.
